Bryan Hymel makes role debut in Don Carlo at Royal Opera House

Screen Shot 2015-03-18 at 5.51.22 PMRounding out the 2016-17 season, Bryan Hymel takes the stage in Verdi’s Don Carlo at the Royal Opera House. The American tenor, hailed for his performances in Le Vêpres Siciliennes and Rigoletto, takes on a new Verdi role in Nicholas Hytner’s acclaimed production.

Led by Bertrand de Billy, Don Carlo also features Kristin Lewis as Elisabetta, Christoph Pohl as Rodrigo, Ekaterina Semenchuk as Princess Eboli, Ildar Abdrazakov as King Philip, and Paata Burchuladze as the Grand Inquisitor.

The production opens on May 12 with additional performances on May 15, 19, 22, 26, and 29.
