Bryan makes his role debut in Bayerische Staatsoper’s Guillaume Tell
This month sees Bryan Hymel making his role debut as Arnold Melcthal in Guillaume Tell. The American tenor adds the heroic Rossini role to his repertoire with five performances at the Bayerische Staatsoper June 28 through July 13.
Dan Ettinger conducts a new production staged by Antú Romero Nunes that also sees Michael Volle in the title role, Marina Rebeka as Mathilde, and Evgeniya Sotnikova as Jemmy. The production will also be broadcast live for free on Max-Joseph-Platz as part of the Staatsoper’s “Oper für alle” program, webcast live for free on Staatsoper.TV, and can also be heard live on BR-Klassik radio.
